Just wanted to warn you that landing a 55% score on this Missouri permit practice test will not get you through the real exam, we usually tell students to work the score up to at least 90% every time you take this practice exam. Question on the real Missouri permit test will be somewhat different, you will have the added stress of being at the DMV office, so you really have to try and work your score up as much as possible! If you have not started reading the book - do so now! It will really do wonders for you!

As a person who has a full time job, I can tell you that Mondays always suck :) I wouldn't actually go to the DMV to take the permit test on Monday, Wednesdays are usually less busy and you don't have to wait in line (unless you prescheduled your permit test, in which case it will not matter). How did you find this Missouri permit practice test?

Hey buddy, Yes, getting a score of 80% should be enough for passing the Missouri permit test, but this does not mean you should stop studying for it now. Remember, taking a practice test is usually much easier than taking the real permit test at the DMV, so try to raise your score as high as possible before you hit the office.

I read the book once and I scored a 80% and I'm only 15. Would I be able to get my permit if I got that score at the DMV ?

Great, buddy, this proves that studying works. For some reason, some people are trying to wing it just by taking this Missouri permit practice test, without reading the handbook or doing any additional courses. I never understood that since it is much easier to invest some time into preparing for the knowledge test than visiting the driving office multiple times. My brother was like that, failed his permit test three times, the DMV had him take a mandatory drivers education course before he was allowed to retake the exam again. Hey Spencer, thanks for the question. The reason why we give you 20 question each time you take this Missouri permit practice test is because this is the most comfortable way to take it. Too many questions and you get bored before you answer all of them, too few questions and you will get tired of refreshing it. The good news is that we are working on a bunch of new practice tests and questions so you will see more variety there, there will even be a jumbo test with 100 questions. Stay tuned!

why don't you guys have 25 questions instead of 20 and why don't you put some on the practice test about alcohol blood levels?

We are with you on this one, we really hope that this Missouri permit practice test will help you pass the real exam at the DMV. 90% is good, but you can still keep on studying until you can answer virtually any question on road rules and traffic safety. Make sure to pick up a copy of the Missouri drivers handbook and read all the information about legal blood-alcohol levels and such, the DMV likes to catch people on these questions. Must be the wisdom you accumulated throughout the years :) By the way, those over 55 years of age usually do much better on this Missouri permit practice test than teens do. Probably has something to do with paying attention to details and reading the questions carefully, teen drivers tend to rush through those questions, that's why so many of them fail the Missouri permit test the first time they take it.
