Missouri Practice Permit Test - MO Permit Practice Test

If you are getting ready to apply for a drivers license or learners permit in the state of Missouri, you will have to take the mandatory permit test and the 2013 Missouri permit practice test will be one of the most valuable study aids in the process. This free Missouri practice permit test allows you to assess your current level of preparation and helps you pinpoint the driving rules you may have trouble with. Pass your 2013 Missouri permit test with our free sample practice test questions today!

Why Should I Take The Missouri Practice Permit Test?

The first reason why someone would take the Missouri practice permit test is because the practice permit test helps you familiarize yourself with the terminology used on the real DMV test. The DMV only wants those who know the traffic rules inside out to be on the road and sometimes phrases permit test questions in the way that may confuse you. Practice permit tests will help you learn this terminology and wording used at the DMV.

Another reason for you to take the permit practice test for Missouri is the fact that practice tests help you evaluate your level of preparation before you go in for the actual Missouri permit test. You might have completed a Missouri drivers education course, read a guide to Missouri drivers license and think you know all the rules and regulations, however, there is no way of knowing that you are right unless you actually test yourself. Doing well on the Missouri DMV practice test will also strike some confidence into you and reduce the amount of stress you will experience at the office.

Considering everything stated above and taking into account that practice tests are free, the question of why should you take the permit practice test Missouri sample quiz before you go in for the real thing turns into why shouldn't you take it?

How Close Is The Permit Practice Test MO to The Permit Test at The DMV?

The Missouri permit practice test that is offered here online is very close to the permit test offered at the DMV, however, they are not identical. You may ask why? Well, there is one good reason not to list all questions from the Missouri permit test here - people will simply start memorizing the answers to permit test questions instead of learning the rules. This defies the whole purpose of the permit test. It is not a memory test, it's an exam that assesses your understanding of the driving rules. The Missouri drivers permit practice test covers the same topics as the real exam, which means that when you go in to be tested for the Missouri learners permit, you will be prepared no matter what questions you get on the test.

Where do I find a drivers book I scored a 75% but have no book. Help?

95%

How long does it usually take to read the whole book?

Wow, sounds like you are ready indeed, this is a pretty good score for this Missouri practice test. When are you taking your real permit test at the DMV?

95% and read the book. I'm so ready for this permit test!

Good on you! First time taking this Missouri practice permit test or have you been studying for a while now?

Hi buddy! Unfortunately, there is still no agreement between different states as to what exactly needs to be done when your gas pedal sticks. Some states advise that you start by trying to pull the pedal up with your toe, as it may resolve the issue right there and then, others say that you should skip this part and not waste any time on trying to fix it, just switch to neutral to disconnect the engine from the wheels and try to move to come to a stop at the side of the highway. I personally would try the toe first, do everything else later, don't see why I shouldn't try to do something that only takes a second if it may save me the hassle of having to stop at the highway, which is not the safest thing to do.

85%

when I was reading the manual it said lift it with your toe and if that didn't work then shift it to neutral and apply the brakes and pull of the road.....

85% (: have not read the book yet but I'm sure I'll do fine good luck everyone

Hi Lauren! Unfortunately, getting 75% on this Missouri practice permit test won't get you through the real knowledge exam, you have to work harder and yes, you do need to read the book as well. Those who say that the permit test is just common sense are only partially right. Most questions are common sense, but there there are some very specific questions you just have to know the answer to, you cannot simply guess it. For example, how much do you know about the Missouri open alcohol container law? How much space are you required to keep between you and a cyclist when passing him, 3 feet, 5 feet, 7 feet? These are the kind of questions people fail when they show up at the office without reading the book, hoping that the test is easy. If you really want to pass the test the first time you take it, read the handbook and take as many sample tests on this and other websites as possible. Covering many different questions now will ensure that you will not be surprised by anything at the office. Good luck and please let us know how you did!

I got a 75 % and I haven't even read the book yet. Everyone says its common sense but some fail and some pass.

Hi buddy! You are correct, you should switch to neutral and apply the brakes in such situations. It looks like this was a tech bug and I already fixed it. If you see any other errors, please report them so we can fix it asap. Thanks and good luck on the test!

This test is wrong.... or at least one of the questions is...."If the gas pedal sticks you should": I answered shift to neutral and apply the brakes, and the quiz told me that you should lift it with your toe??? I just looked at the drivers manual and it says to shift into neutral and apply the brakes..... so you may want to check your test....

Hi Tammi! It is all right, you just have to buckle down and really invest some time into preparing for the permit test and do it the right way. Most kids read the book, but never take notes, never write anything out, hoping that it will just stick by itself. While it may work for some, this is not the case for the majority. If you want to prepare for your Missouri permit test, you can try the following (this is what works for me and many other people). 1. Get a copy of the drivers manual, start reading it. 2. Take notes as you go through the book. You should aim at noting anything that has numbers in it, such as following distances, speed limits, parking limits, etc, etc. 3. Take this free Missouri practice permit test. Note all questions you will miss and try to find the answers to those questions in the notes that you took while reading the book. If the notes don't have answers to these questions, make sure to revisit the book, find the answers and update your notes with this information. 4. Take another practice test, repeat the process. Keep doing this until you can answer virtually any question on the test. Since it's your last chance to tackle the permit test, you should really invest as much time as possible into studying. Let me know if you need any more help and good luck!

I've taken my permit test 4 times and still can't seem to pass. I dont know what else to do. If i fail one more time i have to wait a month..

Hi there, John! Just wanted to warn you that landing a 55% score on this Missouri permit practice test will not get you through the real exam, we usually tell students to work the score up to at least 90% every time you take this practice exam. Question on the real Missouri permit test will be somewhat different, you will have the added stress of being at the DMV office, so you really have to try and work your score up as much as possible! If you have not started reading the book - do so now! It will really do wonders for you!

Got 55 with out readind the book

Hi Brooke! As a person who has a full time job, I can tell you that Mondays always suck :) I wouldn't actually go to the DMV to take the permit test on Monday, Wednesdays are usually less busy and you don't have to wait in line (unless you prescheduled your permit test, in which case it will not matter). How did you find this Missouri permit practice test?

Hi Blair. Not sure I am following your question here, what do you mean by this phrase "what ages do I have to know"? Are you asking how old you need to be to be able to take your Wisconsin permit test or is it something else? Please clarify and I will be happy to help you!

What ages do I have to know for the permit test?

Hey buddy, Yes, getting a score of 80% should be enough for passing the Missouri permit test, but this does not mean you should stop studying for it now. Remember, taking a practice test is usually much easier than taking the real permit test at the DMV, so try to raise your score as high as possible before you hit the office.
