Why Should I Take The Mississippi Practice Permit Test?

The first reason why someone would take the Mississippi permit practice test is because the permit practice test help you familiarize yourself with the terminology used on the real DMV test. The DMV only wants those who know the traffic rules inside out to be on the road and sometimes phrases permit test questions in the way that may confuse you. Practice permit tests will help you learn this terminology and wording used at the DMV.

Another reason for you to take the permit practice test MS sample quiz is the fact that practice tests help you evaluate your level of preparation before you go in for the actual Mississippi permit test. You might have completed a Mississippi driver's education course, read a guide to Mississippi drivers license and think you know all the rules and regulations, however, there is no way of knowing that you are right unless you actually test yourself. Doing well on the Mississippi DMV practice test will also strike some confidence into you and reduce the amount of stress you will experience at the office.

Considering all the reasons listed above and taking into account that practice tests are free, the question of why should you take the practice permit test MS sample exam before you go in for the real thing turns into why shouldn't you take it?

How Close Is The Mississippi Practice Permit Test to The Permit Test at The DMV?

Mississippi permit practice test that is offered here is very close to the permit test offered at the DMV, however, they are not identical. Once you think about it, you will understand that having an identical practice exam may do more evil than good. Many students will simply try to memorize the answers to the practice test instead of learning the rules and if the DMV changes some of the permit test questions, all these people will fail the permit test. The Mississippi drivers practice test covers the same topics, which means that when you go in to be tested for the Mississippi drivers permit, you will be prepared no matter what questions you get on the test.

Kara, with this Mississippi practice permit test, we advise that you work your score up to 90-95% before taking the real exam at the DMV. This means you should not miss more than 1-2 questions from each sample exam! When it comes to the real permit test, you cannot miss more than six questions (there are thirty questions on the exam). Good luck!

How many questions can you miss for it to still be a pass? I got 80% on my first try, and I'm taking the real test Monday.

Hi Sarah! Don't stress about failing the permit test a few times, there is a guaranteed way to pass and that is studying for the test. Just try to go through the drivers manual, taking notes of anything that looks important, then take this Mississippi practice permit test once. Write out all of the questions you miss and revisit corresponding chapters of the manual, update your notes with the answers to these questions, then take another sample test. Keep doing this until you cover all permit test questions and I am sure you will do just fine during your real test. Good luck!

me too :(

Hi Tiki, how did it go this time? Were you able to pass the permit test? Did you do anything different this time, did you read the book more? Share the wisdom with others on the site, it will make passing the test easier for other people!

i failed my test twice, hopefully i pass tomorrow

Hi there! If you failed your Mississippi permit test yesterday, I strongly advise that you don't try and retake it for a week or two. Spend this time reading the handbook and taking the Mississippi practice permit test, make sure your score on the practice test is close to 100% every time you take it, this will significantly improve your chances of passing the state knowledge test. Read the book as much as possible, even 10-15 minutes a day can do wonders. Take notes as you read, write out any numbers you encounter, i.e. speed limits, blood alcohol levels, etc. If you feel that the info is not sticking, make permit test flashcards, post them on the walls in your room so they will always be in front of you. Hope you will fare better next time you take your MS permit test! Good luck!

some of these answers go against what my book says like a question i got wrong is.. WHEN DRIVING, YOU SHOULD STAY AT LEAST: A. 20 feet behind the vehicle in front of you B. One car length for each 10 mph of speed behind the vehicle in front of you YOUR ANSWER C. Three seconds behind the vehicle in front of you CORRECT ANSWER and in my book B. is correct

For number 10, the correct answer should be B. i have my book in my hand and it says " allow at least one car length for every 10 mph of speed"
