Texas Permit Test

Texas permit test is something that must be taken by every Texas drivers license applicant, no matter how old you are. The learners permit test covers the state driving rules, road signs and safe driving practices. There is no way to bypass the test, however in some cases, you may have the option of taking your Texas learners permit test at home and not at the DPS office. This option is available to you if you are at least 18 years of age and have completed an online drivers education class. In all other cases, you must visit a drivers license office and take your Texas DPS permit test there.

Texas Learners Permit

Texas learners permit or Texas drivers permit is the first document issued to Texas first time drivers that allows them to operate a motor vehicle. Although the Texas learners permit has its own restrictions, it is still a major step towards obtaining the Texas drivers license. The main purpose of issuing license applicants with a drivers permit is to allow them a chance to practice driving before they take a road test at the DPS. Make full full use of your Texas driving permit before you take the Texas drivers test at your local testing facility.
